About these terms
These terms govern your use of pactone.ai and the public live demo at dev.pactone.ai (together, the “site”). The site is operated by Pactone AI Private Limited (“Pactone”, “we”, “us”). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you use it on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you can accept them for that organisation.
Paid and free Pactone workspaces are covered by our customer agreement and any order form. If those documents conflict with these terms, they take precedence.
Using the site
You may use the site to learn about Pactone and to evaluate the product. You agree not to:
- break the law, or infringe anyone's rights, while using the site;
- try to gain unauthorised access to the site, other users' data or our systems, or test their security without following our disclosure policy;
- overload, disrupt or scrape the site with automated tools beyond normal search engine indexing;
- copy, reverse engineer or resell the product, or use it to build a competing service;
- upload malware or content that is unlawful, harmful or that you have no right to share.
The live demo
The live demo is provided so you can try Pactone without signing up. It uses sample data and may be reset, changed or taken offline at any time without notice.
Don't upload real, confidential or personal information to the demo. Anything entered there may be visible to other visitors and is not protected by our customer agreement. For a private evaluation on your own contracts, ask us for a pilot workspace.
AI output is not legal advice
Pactone's agents draft, redline, flag risk and summarise obligations, and a person approves every change. AI output can be incomplete or wrong. It is not legal, financial or tax advice, and Pactone is not a law firm. You remain responsible for reviewing output and for the decisions you make with it. Take qualified professional advice where it matters.
Intellectual property
The site, the Pactone software, our logos and the content we publish belong to Pactone or our licensors. These terms give you no rights in them beyond using the site as described here.
Content you upload remains yours. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them to improve Pactone without any obligation to you.
Third-party links
The site links to other websites, such as our partners' sites and sources we cite. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or practices.
Information on the site
We work to keep the site accurate, but product details, prices, plan features and compliance status can change. Prices are shown in US dollars and exclude taxes. The terms of a quote or order form apply over anything shown on the site.
Disclaimers
To the extent the law allows, the site and the live demo are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or uninterrupted availability.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Pactone is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the site or the live demo. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to one hundred US dollars (USD 100). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Your responsibility
If you use the site in breach of these terms or the law and a third party brings a claim against us as a result, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs arising from that claim.
Suspension
We may restrict or end your access to the site or the live demo if you breach these terms or if we need to protect the site, our users or our systems.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, subject to any mandatory rights you have as a consumer where you live.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version. If you keep using the site after a change, the updated terms apply.
